Mandorle
Scent structure
Why it earned its place
Mandorle is SORA DORA's study of attraction, pairing edible sweetness with suede, woods and musk. An immediate almond accord creates a marzipan-like opening, while cacao and tonka add warmth and a dark, almost cherry-like quality.
Heliotrope and rum continue the gourmand character through the heart, but suede and Cashmere wood introduce a smoother, more tactile side. Vanilla and caramel settle over white musk and sparkling woods, leaving a creamy finish with a faint suggestion of smoked leather.
Curator's note
Mandorle is indulgent, but the suede and woods stop it becoming a straightforward dessert fragrance. It feels creamy, boozy and sensual, with enough texture underneath the almond and caramel to keep it interesting. A very approachable gourmand and an excellent date-night fragrance.
