Eight & Bob is a fragrance house shaped by old-world elegance, travel and the story of Albert Fouquet, a Parisian aristocrat who created perfumes privately for himself and his circle. The name comes from Fouquet’s meeting with a young John F. Kennedy on the French Riviera in 1937, and the request that followed for “eight, and if possible, one for Bob.” Today, the house draws on places, encounters and memories from Fouquet’s life, creating fragrances that feel polished, romantic and quietly transportive.

We stock Eight & Bob because it makes classical perfumery feel inviting rather than formal. These are elegant, beautifully composed fragrances with a strong sense of place, but they remain easy to wear. When someone wants to explore niche fragrance without jumping straight into something difficult or confrontational, this is one of the first houses we recommend.
