Egypt
Scent structure
Why it earned its place
Egypt is a warm, dry woody fragrance inspired by Albert Fouquet's travels through the country in the 1930s. Lavender, lemon and moss create an aromatic opening before cardamom and nutmeg bring a measured layer of spice. Leather, patchouli and sandalwood give the base an earthy, enduring finish.
Curator's Note
Egypt has the confidence of a traditional masculine fragrance without feeling dated. It is aromatic, woody and slightly leathery, with enough spice to give it character but no need to shout. A very good grown-up signature scent.
